Maybe the bear was just trying to smell the flowers, or pick a bouquet? I thought that I posted a comment about this yesterday, but since I don't see it, I'll do it again.
Oh my goodness Melanie! You won't believe this, but I'm your neighbor to the east of you. My husband and I live in the rambler on the corner with the matching shop. We've met once or twice while I was out taking a walk last spring/summer I think it was. I have the Mini-Schnauzer. At any rate, my husband heard the story about your visitor just 2 days ago and I'd told a few of the ladies here at work about it just yesterday. And low-and-behold I come to find out this morning, thanks to Diana, that you actually work for SIL now and posted a picture of him on your blog!! What an incredibly small world!
Yesterday I kept thinking that if I'd been looking out my back windows or in my backyard looking to the west during his visit, I'd have seen him! Incredible.
And welcome to SIL I have to say! I've worked here for more years than I like to talk about...LOL Needless to say, we'll really have quite a bit to talk about the next time we see other in the "hood". And all thanks to this impromtu visit from a big furry guy! :-)
